The main board carrier section. Can be known as a top hat section due to its appearance. This is located into the EF6 Perimeter Channel and is connected at a 90º degree to the EF7 Support Channel using an EF9 wire clip. Generally located at 400mm centres dependant on the board sizes. Manufactured to BS EN 13964: 2004 and BS EN 14195;2014.
